Today, we’re pleased to announce our partnership with Push Protocol (formerly EPNS) to enable decentralized notifications and alerts for Superfluid Dashboard users. Wallet addresses are the default identifier for users in web3, and in building a web3-native product, it’s only natural we support a web3-native notification system.

Upon subscribing to Push with their wallet address, users will receive notifications via the Push Dapp or mobile app about key Superfluid activity, such as low Super Token balances and liquidated streams. Although this implementation will see several improvements over the coming months to add more configurability (as well as deeper integration within the Superfluid Dashboard), this is a great first step towards providing Superfluid users with greater visibility into their money streams!

Setting Up Push Notifications For Superfluid

The Push channel for Superfluid is a great way to get Superfluid activity alerts for your Ethereum address. The channel supports notifications across all Superfluid networks and all listed Super Tokens.

The two types of notifications we’re supporting at launch include:

  • Super Token balances are low for outgoing streams
  • A Super Token balance hit zero and outgoing streams were liquidated

Note: The wallet you connect to the Push Dapp must be the same as the address you want to monitor — for now! As mentioned earlier, we’ll be adding plenty of additional configuration options via a dedicated Superfluid Dashboard UI in the coming weeks and months.

To start taking advantage of Push notifications for Superfluid, check out our Push + Superfluid quickstart guide. Alternatively, users can go to the Push Dapp and connect their wallet or build a custom frontend to subscribe to our official Push channel.

About Push Protocol

Push is the communication protocol of web3. Push protocol enables cross-chain notifications and messaging for dapps, wallets, and services tied to wallet addresses in an open, gasless, and platform-agnostic fashion. The open communication layer allows any crypto wallet /front end to tap into the network and get the communication across.
